Samuel Julia Fox Goes Nude for Mac’s New Lipstick Shades

Julia Fox pretty much owns avant garde fashion at this point. She’s either sporting a couture suit on the red carpet or strutting the New York City streets in a hairy bikini with prosthetic nipples—there’s truly no in between. Because of this, we’ve come to expect only the weirdest outfits from her. And up until this point, she’s seriously delivered with tons of jaw-dropping outfits that always rile up the internet trolls. But, in her newest campaign with Mac Cosmetics, Julia reinvented the wheel yet again by going completely naked.
When it comes to weird looks, nothing is too out-there for Miss Julia Fox. I know better than to expect her to play it safe, but I was still pretty shocked to see her nude on my Instagram feed. Of course, naked looks have been all the rage lately, and Julia has never been one to dress modestly—but at the same time, going fully nude is still way more shocking than just flashing your nipples or baring your butt. At this point, Julia has done it all, so it only makes sense that this would be her next move.
Yesterday, Mac dropped new photos of Julia Fox (seemingly) riding the subway naked. To promote Mac Cosmetics’ new nude lipstick shades, Julia wore nothing but Mac Lip Liner in Stone and Acting Natural Lipstick. She also donned a grey smokey eye, bleached brows, and old Hollywood-esque pin curls. As shocking as Julia’s photos are, tons of other celebs are getting naked for Mac too. Beabadoobee, Odell Beckham Jr, and Tiffany Pollard all posed nude for the campaign too—which is only further proving that in 2025, less is more.
As for the lipstick itself, Y2K concealer lips are becoming increasingly popular thanks to this new Mac launch. Beauty lovers can’t get enough of all the gorgeous shades (including one worn by Angelina Jolie in the ’90s), and they’re equally obsessed with all of the scandalous photos we’ve been graced with. Thanks to Julia Fox, going nude—both literally and on your lips—is cool yet again.
