Samuel BLACKPINK’s Jennie Just Proved Pearls Also Belong on Our Nails With This 3D Manicure
Just when we thought we’d seen every possible nail trend, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie’s pearl nails have us rethinking everything we know about 3D manicures. The K-pop star recently showcased an innovative take on the classic French manicure while promoting Gentle Monster eyewear—and it’s giving us major inspiration for our next salon visit.

For the campaign, Jennie embraced the coquette aesthetic with a business-meets-romantic ensemble. She paired a sophisticated black blazer and trousers with an unexpected sheer lace white skirt overlay, completing the look with pearl-embellished white heels. But it was her matching manicure that really caught our attention.
The creative genius behind the look is Park Eunkyung, founder of Nail Unistella and the go-to nail artist for BLACKPINK members. Eunkyung crafted a set of long almond nails featuring a dreamy, sheer milky white base—a color that’s having a major moment right now. But instead of pairing the base with traditional French tips, each nail features an inverted design that connects to a statement pearl placed at the end. This isn’t the first time Jennie has served up serious nail inspiration through Unistella. Last year, she rocked a playful ice cream-themed manicure for her interview with Billie Eilish, featuring ombré tips in blue and green topped with 3D sweets. And now, as she gears up for her first studio album Ruby (which she announced on January 22, 2025), she’s proving once again that she’s not afraid to push beauty boundaries.
The pearl manicure perfectly balances classic elegance with contemporary edge—much like Jennie herself.
