Sabrina Carpenter is always setting the bar higher when it comes to makeup. We can’t get enough of her signature glowy look, which means we’re constantly keeping tabs on her most-used products. Like any it girl, she’s always looking her best—whether she’s at the Met Gala or just chilling at home. So, when we clocked her using the cult-favorite Glossier Balm Dotcom, we became even more obsessed with her personal makeup collection.
By now, we’ve seen Sabrina pull off countless lip combos—she’s slayed everything from her signature browny pink lip to a bold cherry red lip. Because of this, we’ve been searching high and low for lip product recommendations from the Polly Pocket pop star herself. In addition to the products her makeup artists use on the red carpet, we’re also super curious to know what products she uses during her downtime. Frankly, we can’t get enough of a tinted lip balm on a lowkey day, and apparently Miss Sabrina Carpenter feels the same way because she talked about wearing a Balm Dotcom during a TikTok live.
Videos of Sabrina applying a Glossier Balm Dotcom have recently resurfaced on TikTok. (She might’ve tasted it too, but that’s a different story.) For Glossier stans, this is a huge deal. Sabrina’s frenemy Olivia Rodrigo once teamed up with the Gen Z-loved brand for an official collaboration, and tons of other stars have expressed their love for the brand’s products—but we had no idea Sabrina was a Glossier girly too. Plus, with so many tinted lip balms constantly popping up, it’s interesting to know which one Sabrina uses herself.
As for the exact shade Sabrina’s using in the video, Glossier fangirls will immediately recognize it. If you’re not caught up on the Glossier lore, you might not know that Glossier controversially reformulated (and have since changed back to the original formula) its Balm Dotcom. The Reddit forums will tell you that one sure fire way to tell if a Balm Dotcom was released before the reformula is by the short cap.
Thanks to our sleuthing skills, we can confirm Sabrina’s Balm Dotcom is in fact, the highly sought after (and sadly discontinued) Swiss Miss Balm Dotcom. Last year, Glossier rereleased the hot chocolate shade for the holidays and even though it’s not available anymore, you might be able to find one second hand. (That is, if you’re willing to spend tons of money on a “gently used” product.) Our girl Sabrina has incredible taste, and even though her exact shade is gone forever, there are still tons of new shades to choose from instead. Just don’t try eating it like she did—because they’re definitely not edible.
